Product Performance

Usually, a flickering LED light bulb or an LED light bulb that burns out prematurely is caused by an incompatible dimmer. While many of our LED light bulbs are dimmable, we recommend they be used with a compatible dimmer for best results. To determine if your dimmer is compatible with your LED light bulb, please check the Dimmer Compatibility Chart included in the specification sheet for your light bulb.

To access the specification sheet for your light bulb:

  1. Locate the item number on your light bulb. This is a 5-digit number that typically begins with 0, 3, 4 or 5.
  2. Type the item number into the search bar on our website.
  3. Select your light bulb from the search results to open the product page.
  4. On the product page, select the blue SPEC SHEET box to open the specification sheet.

LED Color Temperature (Kelvin)

  • Warm White (2000K-3000K): ranges from orange to yellow-white in appearance
  • Cool White (3100-4500K): a more neutral white light and may even have a slightly blue tint
  • Daylight (4500K+): blue-white light that mimics daylight

Color temperature is a matter of preference, so there is no such thing as the best color temperature. When choosing color temperature for your room, you want to consider your preferred color and brightness of light as well as your desired ambience for the room. The chart below gives some color temperature recommendations for rooms and types of lighting based on common preferences.
